Daren Sammy and Wahab Riaz’s COVID-19 test negative.
Ever since the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic struck, it has changed the world a bit. Huge and small sports tournaments had to be postponed or literally cancelled, and that put sports lovers into frustration. When it’s almost getting out of hand, most sports organizers have allowed spectators in limited numbers and hold the track. We witnessed pretty much instances such as the Big Bash League. Even there are percussions about breaching a bio-secure area or a bio-bubble created for players so that they could continue playing and have no contacts from the outside during the competition.
Recently one such breach had a shot in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021. Fortunately, it couldn’t make any disappointment as both the player and the coach tested negative twice before being allowed back with their team.
The PCB(Pakistan Cricket Board) allowed PSL franchise Peshawar Zalmi skipper Wahab Riaz and coach Daren Sammy to get into all actions surrounding the game after testing negative for the coronavirus on FEB 19 2021.
