TOFFEE DIRECTOR
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Envision and direct to develop long term strategies to build Toffee as next generation media company that impact the economy’s overall success • Effectively contribute to develop the OTT ecosystem in Bangladesh, identify potential digital talents and partners for Banglalink and establish Banglalink as a digital brand
- Direct to develop strategies on new Business models (example: creative interventions, media contents, sports, learning contents etc) designed to ensure Toffee’s continuous business growth
- Direct to develop strategies for additional sources of revenue through different creative approaches such as music, premium subscriptions, innovative chat platform etc.
•Direct to develop content strategies according to the customers’ search preferences, discovery and monetization and enable people creating content to provide creators with more video editing tools
Strategic partnership with product and analytics teams to synthesize complex web data, product performance and voice of customer data to form actionable insights to accelerate growth - Explore new technologies and trends to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital platforms
- Envisage to enable users and consumers to research products on Toffee before they buy and hence integrate shopping into the Toffee experience
- Strategies to be benefited from partnerships with governments on critical issues, like preventing violent extremism and coordinated influence operations on Toffee platform
- Manage performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support and feedback, and formal appraisal
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in relevant areas. International experience will be given preference.
